Daily Micro: Yesterday’s Artists in Today’s World ~ Alexandre Dumas

Acknowledging Alexandre Dumas

In Cristo, I named the moneychangers. And here we are, one hundred and fifty years and in the same moment but now they have their eyes on the entirety of Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Arctic, the Antarctica, all the islands, Australia, the seas, the ocean floors, the sky, space and the breath of every living being. Is there no end to their avarice? I am like D’Artagnan, we are like D’Artagnan, One for all and All for One. We will not surrender. In the moment of the end and the new beginning, we will triumph through the source of our imagination. Be gone, money changers, be gone, shall be our song.

~ Stephen J. Bergstrom
