Acknowledging John Muir
Nature, I realized was beyond the forests, beyond the deserts, beyond the oceans beyond what we considered the natural world. Taking up my pen, I wrote my deepest thoughts;
When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
All life streams forward from Source.
In today’s world, life redoubles back upon itself. I see a black bear, starved by drought, come out of the mountains, in search of food, plunge into refuse and fish and game people with fingers on triggers.
All life returns to Source. All life exists in the natural world. Great and small. Oppressed and Oppressor.
See the mighty Redwoods fall. Kiss the poisoned shores. Identify the predator.
