Acknowledging The Haudenosaunee (the People of the Longhouse)
We are the women of the Cayuga, Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Seneca, Tuscarora and this is our wisdom.
You tell us not to speak but we question everything. When you came, we welcomed you in peace. If you were Haudenosaunee, we would remove you from power, we would place your belongings outside our homes and tell you to leave and into the wild you would go.
As mothers, we know the best children. Looking at your behavior, we know the sorceress that came out of the ground at the start of this world raised you. We know you misuse your gift.
Now, not even the wild is safe from you.
