Acknowledging Gladio

Where did we originate? In millennia past, in courtyard intrigue, in the need to maintain control and to steer the masses, to absorb increasingly larger shares of public revenue, to cause industry to support military might.

At the end of WW II, we ally with the victors and we become the “stay behind” army. We report to The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), directed by NATO.

 

In Being Silent, we save Freedom.

We are to maintain a perpetual “strategy of tension”, a palpable unease, a fright grounded in violence. We morph. We become the IRA, the Red Army Faction, the Baader-Meinhof Gang. We inflict horrors on Europe.

We are the problem. NATO the solution.

We morph, again. We become fundamentalists, radical Islam. We range through the Mideast, we venture outward, through Europe, we attack the 1st World. In the U.S., we become “homegrown”.

Our mission the same. Maintain control, steer the masses, absorb increasingly larger shares of public revenue, cause industry to support military might.

Now, NATO commandeers the world, encircles Russia, blunts China, the U.S. military possesses presence on every continent and in space.

And no one sees us on their soil, on your soil.

Shall we morph, again. In what veil this time? Shall we become aliens? Shall we invade the Earth? What then shall we bring?
