Acknowledging Simón (José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacios Ponte y Blanco) Bolivar
I rose in the South and bandied with Napoleon until he opposed me. Returning to my homeland, I made an army, defeated the Spanish and claimed independence for Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and my people named a country, Bolivia, after me.
They called me El Liberator and I swear to you, my spirit lives in the minds and breaths of my people.
I am the people of the South and in my people there is courage and strength. And genetic memory and we rise, again;
