As a Note, I originate as debt, am debt and am compounded. That call you hear, that unmistakable sound, when I expand, a bubble – The Roaring 20’s, the call home in the 50’s, the ramp up in the 80’s, the end of the century boom.

That hush you fear, the Dust Bowl of the 30’s, the wailing sounds of Hank Paulson, the bubble burst after the millennium.

I am also strategy. I shape the world. When I come collecting this time, I will look like this;

I am known as Pablo Amaringo. And I travel in the other worlds.

Before I left your world, I wrote that;

“Every tree, every plant, has a spirit. People may say that the plant has no mind. I tell them that the plant is alive & conscious. A plant may not talk, but there is a spirit in it that is conscious, that sees everything, which is the soul of the plant, its essence, what makes it alive. The channels through which the water & sap move are the veins of the spirit.”

In my paintings under the power of ayahuasca, I captured the spirits, sub-aquatic cities, celestial realms, extra-terrestrial beings of great wisdom and the sorcerers who battle with the vegetalistas (shamans).

In my tradition, vegetalista denotes those that receive power through the plant kingdom. Some, such as the Palero, specialize in the bark, roots, and resins of trees. The Perfumero specializes in the aromas of plants and flowers.

All vegetalistas sing or whistle magical chants (Ícaros) during the onset of an ayahuasca ceremony to provoke the mareación or visionary trance state and to render the mind more susceptible to visions.

The vegetalista learns the ícaros directly from the plant spirits. In my experience, the ícaro as the sound of the universe – the planets, stars, comets, and supernovas. Creation is vibration, is sound. Ícaros are the music of creation.

Arawak men and women, naked, tawny, and full of wonder, emerged from their villages onto the island’s beaches and swam out to get a closer look at the strange big boat. When Columbus and his sailors came ashore, carrying swords, speaking oddly, the Arawaks ran to greet them, brought them food, water, gifts.
